Shipping Policy

At Kalmsilk, we prioritize the integrity of our 22-Momme Mulberry Silk over the speed of fast-fashion logistics. Each piece undergoes a final clinical inspection before being released from our facility to ensure your "Cool Sleep" journey begins perfectly.

1. Shipping Timelines

In compliance with Hong Kong trade standards, we provide clear delivery expectations:

  • Processing Time: Orders are processed within 2–3 business days.

  • Estimated Delivery: Due to our specialized handling and global logistics, please allow 8–12 business days for your order to arrive.

  • Tracking: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number to monitor your shipment’s progress in real-time.

2. Shipping Rates

  • Hong Kong Domestic:Flat Rate of $40 HKD or Free over $1,500 HKD

  • International Shipping: We ship to most major global regions. Shipping costs and estimated duties are calculated at checkout.

3. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

For international orders outside of Hong Kong:

  • Kalmsilk is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

4. Delivery Guarantee & Risk of Loss

Under the Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26):

  • Risk of Loss: The risk of loss and title for items purchased from Kalmsilk pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

  • Undelivered Items: If an item is lost in transit before reaching the carrier's "Delivered" status, we will coordinate a replacement or investigation. If an order is marked as delivered but not received, please contact the carrier directly.

5. Order Cancellations

You may request an order cancellation within 12 hours of purchase. Once the order has entered our fulfillment system (Processing), it cannot be cancelled, but it can be returned according to our Returns Policy once received.

6. Damaged or Faulty Goods

In accordance with the Trade Descriptions Ordinance:

  • If your silk arrives damaged or does not match the description provided, please contact help@kalmsilk.com within 7 days of receipt with photographic evidence. We will provide a priority replacement or full refund including shipping costs.
